Tyagi Ram is a native of Los Angeles. He is an ordained minister in the Ananda Church of Self-Realization and has toured the world teaching yoga and meditation practices for greater health, wealth, and spiritual prosperity for over 35 years. He sings hundreds of songs written by his spiritual teacher, J. Donald Walters (aka Swami Kriyananda) in both English and Italian. He lived for seven years in Assisi, Italy, the town of St.Francis, where he helped start the Ananda Meditation Retreat Center in 1987. Tyagi Ram considers himself an interfaith minister who seeks to bring harmony and understanding between people of all faiths, or to those who lack faith, toward a higher vision of life's purpose.
