Coming 2 Hollywod Competition Rules - Effective April 27, 2011
By registering to become a Contestant on the Coming 2 Hollywood World Star Show ("C2H"), you are expressly agreeing to the Terms Of Use and these Coming 2 Hollywood Competition Rules (the "Rules"), which are in addition to and not in derogation of the Terms Of Use.
1. As stated above, the Rules are in addition to and not oin derogation of the Terms Of Service, which govern your use of this website. If any conflict arises between these Rules and the Terms of Service, the Terms Of Service will take precedence and the conflicting part of these Rules will be null and void to the extent of the conflict. Specifically, and without limiting the foregoing, no employer-employee relationship, parnership, joint venture or agency relationship is created between C2H, Stella James Studios, sjLume.com or any of them on the one hand, and any Contestant on the other hand, and at no time during or after the competition will there be. Bandwidth, usage or similar fees assessed at the time of registering to become a Contestant are not entrance fees and do not create any such relationship.
2. Notwithstanding the fact that other seasons, iterations and versions of Coming 2 Hollywood are or may be mentioned, discussed and promoted from time to time on coming2hollywood.com (the "Website"), there is no connection between C2H and those other competitions, websites, shows or productions. C2H and a party's status as a Contestant on it is entirely exclusive of any other such production.
3. Eligibility To Register As A Contestant: Any natural person or group of natural persons is eligible to register as a Contestant on C2H, other than persons or classes of persons that are excluded in these Rules. No corporate entities may enter. The following persons or classes of persons are ineligible from participating in C2H as a Contestant: employees and their families of any business, corporation or entity which Stella James Studios and associated firms, businesses, employees and officers may from time to time consider a close competitor or with which any of them may have a business or other relationship or business or other interactions. C2H reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in its absolute discretion for breach of any part of the Terms of Servoce =any reason and without notice.
4. Registration As A Contestant gives the person or group of persons registered the right to upload content to the Website, and to use the Website to promote their own selves, and to take advantage of the promotional tools and initiatives that C2H and the Website offer fropm time to time. Registration and participation on the Website does not guarantee any degree of success at getting votes or prizes. A Contestant is solely responsible to promote themselves. By registering, your expressly grant to C2H and its partners, associated and successor businesses and assigns a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, world-wide license to display, exhibit, edit, re-edit, transcode, make derivations from, publish and use any material you upload, in any and all media and by any and all means existing or hereafter created. You warrant that all material of any kind of nature that you ulpoad to the Website is original to you and that you have full legal right, including copyright, to its use and to grant the licenses herein granted.
5. Voting: C2H and the Website will from time to time institute and create methods of voting and tallying votes for Contestants. A Contestant may vote for themselves, and anonymous parties may vote for one or more Contestants. Parties may vote more than once, and more than once for any Contestant, but the use of computerized, automated or "robot" software to generate votes done by or accruing to a Contestant will subject that Contestant to disqualification without notice. Eligibility to vote is at the sole discretion of C2H producers, and producers may override any vote or votes for any reason. Vote tallies are a measure of how commited a Contestant is to actively promoting his or her own career. In determining a winner of the competition, C2H and its producers (who will determine the winner in their sole discretion) will consider vote tallies as only one factor among many, which factors will include their opinion of the talent, marketability, audience appeal, commitment, resourcefulness, screen presence, performances, and other professional, intangible or personal factors. 6. Legal Status Of Winner: as participation in C2H is available world-wide, you as a Contestant acknowledge and agree that it may not be legal in your country, state, province or other jurisdiction to participate in, win or accept a prize as awarded. By registering as a Contestant, you warrant that you understand this to be the case and that you are solely responsible to determine your legal ability to participate in the competition and to potentially accept any award, and you further warrant that the primary reason you are registering as a Contestant is for the possibility of publicity which your participation may afford you, without regard to the value of any award, contract or prize which may or may not be offered to you, or to the possibility of becoming eligible for such award.
7. Awards: C2H will offer a prize package to the winner of the competition, which will include a contract for a reality show designed around the winning person, and covering the production costs of such a show, including appearance fees and similar payments to the winner. Such award and specific details will be governed by contract between the parties, and the terms of the contractual offer made by C2H will be subject to promotional and budgetary circumstances applicable at the time of the offer. If the parties cannot agree to the contractual terms as offered, or if the winner as determined by C2H for any reason does not accept the terms offered within 7 days of the offer, then that person is deemed to irrevocably and forever give up entitement to the offered contract, or any other prize, award or compensation. C2H contract may offer the same or different terms to another party in its sole discretion. If no party can agree to the contractual terms offered, C2H is not bound to award any prize.
8. Termination: C2H may terminate the competition at any time without notice. Unless the Terms Of Use specify a lesser sum, the liability of C2H, Stella James Studios, SJLume, and their partners, parents, associates, officers, employees, contactors, successors and assigns, to any Contestant, for any reason, including claims of economic loss, damages, costs, loss and expense related in any way to a Contestant's participation on C2H or their use of the Website, or its termination or unavailability for any reason, is limited to the amount of the broadband fee actually paid by the claimant upon registering to become a Contestant.
9. These Rules may be changed from time to time by C2H and are binding on all parties when changed. It is up to the Contestant to keep himself or herself aware of the Rules as they are in force from time to time.
